Seneca Caverns is Ohio's Greatest Natural Underground Adventure", In our 71st Year. Seneca Caverns, discovered in 1872, and is located in Bellevue, Ohio - is a Registered Ohio Natural Landmark.

Preserved close to its original state, Seneca Caverns is a unique and educational adventure that you'll always remember!! The one hour guided tour takes you 110 feet underground through seven rooms or levels.

The caverns are electrically lighted and tours are conducted by a knowledgeable guide. A light jacket is recommended as the temperature in the caverns is a refreshing and constant 54 degrees Fahrenheit . It is also suggested that comfortable shoes are worn for the tour.

During your visit, be sure to pan mine for gems, fossils, arrowheads and other artifacts in the water flowing sluice trough.
